Little Helly’s Dream 6 –The Children Killed in the Earthquake

“Helly, what did you do for fun last night?”



“I was dispatching the milk.”



“To whom?”



“To the children killed by the earthquake.”



“Um…With whom?”



“With Guanyin Bodhisattva. We went to the quake-hit area by the lotus plane. Guanyin Bodhisattva gave each of them a cow to breed.”



“Aren’t the children already in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss?”



“No. They are not allowed to enter with the ticket.”



“Why?”



“We have to go through a gate to enter the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. By the gate stand the four Heavenly Kings. They look ferocious and keep those with a ticket outside. There was mouse-like being jumping outside the gate. The four Heavenly Kings blocked the way to prevent him from entering. Later, Guanyin Bodhisattva said, “Kick him to the office.” I gave him a kick, and he dropped to a large pot of boiling oil."



“Wow, it sounds terrible.”



“Guanyin Bodhisattva and I served milk to the children. ”



“Um...It was great!”



Some days later, I asked Helly, “How are the children killed by the earthquake doing now?”



“They are still breeding the cows. By the time the little cows are grown up, they’d accumulate merits and virtues enough to have fun in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Mom, your merits and virtues are about to be used up.”



“No. What should Mom do?|”



“Get to do homework like me.”



“What homework is it?”



“Recite the mantras. Write the name of Guanyin Bodhisattva.”—(I had yet to start cultivation by them, which was quite a shame.)



I thought of the children again sometime later, and asked Helly, “Do you see them recently?”



“No. They are no longer there. The cows are grown-up. They have left.”



Thanks Heaven! Homage to Guanyin Bodhisattva! May all the children killed by the earthquake get blessed. May you all get access to the Buddha Dharma, and enter the Buddha Path as soon as possible!
