What makes the Tathagata?

What makes the Tathagata (The Thus Come One)? What is His code of conduct in the secular world? How do you tell whether it is Him or not?

His room houses great kindness and compassion;

His clothes is made up of gentleness and patience, while His seat seats the empitniess of the Dharma.

You can tell if one is Tathagata or not by whether one is endowed with great kindness, compassion, gentleness and patience, and whether one understands that all Dharmas are empty of characteristics.

If you find one equipped with these attributes, one is up to be a Tathagata.

The state of the Tathagata is beyond the comprehension of ordinary people. Showing respect gains one blessings, bowing with reverence virtues, and following Him in cultivation merits.

Do not measure Him with your ordinary eyes. Doing so is like measuring the scope of the ocean with a leave. The result is getting fallen into it.

You gain merits, vitures, and blessings by showing respect, bowing with reverence, and cultivating, as instructed. Fathom the Tathagata’s mind with your ordinary mind, and you shall receive the retributions of bitter fruits for billions of eons to come. Never shall you have the opportunity to meet the Buddha again.

When all is said, a lamp that illumines yourself is a must. As long as the lamp of mind is on, you shall never sink into the sea of bitterness. If taken away by the ordinary mind, your shall stay in sea of bitterness forever.

It is only after you have endured bitterness for beginingless eons that you are now born as humans. Do not let go the conditions available to you after having suffered it for billions of eons. Otherwise, you shall be turned on the Wheel to ensure more.

Amitabha-Buddha! Cherish the opporutnity and do not let it go!
